BYU five out of five
Brigham Young University defeated Houston 43-26 to win their fifth game out of five for the first time since 2008.
The Cougars trailed 26-21 with a quarter to go but scored 22 points in the final quarter without conceding to win convincingly.
Quarterback Zach Wilson set career hights, making four touchdowns for BYU and finished with 400 yards in the match to maintain his side’s perfect start. Wilson is third in the NCAA for passing yards with 1641 passing yards.

Dax Milne also had a career-best effort, making nine catches for 184 yards and three touchdowns.

Florida surprise North Carolina
Florida State beat North Carolina 31-28 in a hard-fought win for Mike Norvell’s side.
Florida led 7-0 at the end of the first quarter and scored a further 24 points in the second quarter to take a commanding 31-7 lead at half time. North Carolina rallied but Florida won to win their second match out of five and inflict a first defeat on the visitors.
Quarterback Jordan Travis scored two touchdowns running a career-high 107 yards and also completed eight passes for 191 yards setting up one touchdown.

Notre Dame keep up unbeaten start
Notre Dame won narrowly 12-7 in a low-scoring NCAA match against the University of Louisville to maintain their 100% record this season.
Kyren Williams finished the match with 127 yards on 25 carries, his third 100-yard effort of the season.
Ian Book scored a touchdown for Notre Dame and also completed 106 passing yards.
Notre Dame have won their first four matches of the season.

Liberty beat ACC side for first time
Liberty earned their first ever win against an ACC opponent beating Syracuse 38-21.
They have won five matches in a row for the first time since 2008.
Shedro Louis scored two touchdowns for the Flames and also rushed for 170 yards on 10 carries.
